Windsor Days
Windsor Days is the annual celebration of the town. Windsor Volunteer Fire Department runs the game show, ‘Take it or Leave It‘, the parade, which runs from Windsor Elementary School to the Fairgrounds, and the Craft Fair and Treasures sale. In past Windsor Days, WVFD has also held a firemen’s muster.
Windsor Fair
At the Windsor Fair, Windsor Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection to the grounds, safety during the Demolition Derby and Fireworks display, and fund raises with it’s Dunk Booth.
Rabies Clinic
A rabies clinic is held at the station every year with Windsor Veterinary Clinic.
Fire Safety Week
Windsor Volunteer Fire Department has a presentation for Windsor Elementary School every October. The national fire safety theme of the year is presented with a demonstration of a search and rescue followed by a tour of the apparatus.
Voluntary Toll ‘Boot’
Windsor Volunteer Fire Department twice annually holds a Voluntary Toll ‘Boot’ on Route 17 north of Route 32. This is the department’s major fundraiser for the year.
